We've moved!
In the end, I just said “the hell with it” to my evil phantom spammer problems and switched to a blog where I can require people to register in order to post. It’s left open for now to anyone, in hopes that I won’t encounter this problem at the new blog, but if it continues I might have to restrict it to only registered users of Blogger.com (you don’t need to have a blog to be a registered user).
A sad, sad time to be a Yankee fan right now. But it could be worse. I could be a Nats fan. :-)

Phew!!! When you said, "We've moved!", at first I thought you meant that you picked up and went elsewhere in Columbia or something.
